"to me, my art and my anxiety both allow me the chance to make something out of nothing."
ORBIT was an EP that i produced within the first months of moving into my second apartment with my partner. The struggle after leaving a homeless shelter and settling into a state of COVID-19 induced financial hardships outside of the shelter environment both left me struggling to find my orbit.
Starting a few weeks ago, I've begun going to therapy for the first time in 7 years, to help me align my efforts of self-therapy. Appreciating my support systems in this time, my friends, my family, and my NctrnmTribe have allowed me to find myself back in orbit once more.
I would like to say thank you to Tracy, Elizabeth, Monica, Anthony, and Lonnie for inspiring my life's synchronicity during the making of this record.
It's an everyday hustle. But I can feel the gratitude and emotional regulation I've experienced over the past few weeks pushing me forward to be an even better multimedia artist for my tribe, the arts, and hopefully the world.
Thank you thank you thank you <33 and I hope you enjoy the project.
